Stardew Valley Relationships
I’ve been hooked on Stardew Valley for a bit now, and I’m quite addicted. Luckily, I’ve gotten to the point where I can focus on other things again, like working out. However I’ve always had an itch to play more. It’s probably because I’m addicted to the Stardew Valley relationships you can build between the characters.
First comes Love
When I first was trying to get the people in Stardew Valley to like me, I really only focused on one character, Alex. He was my experiment, trying to figure out how this game worked. I became hooked on the cutscenes. From there, I decided I would make Emily a friend of mine as well. Her cutscenes were strange, but fun.
After I realized that talking to that person every day and giving them gifts twice a week was the way to go, I set my eyes on bigger goals. It was then that I became obsessed with making all the single dateable people my boyfriend. girlfriend. I don’t know why, it just was my goal at the time. Yet, after I had succeeded in spending my hard earned money into making everyone become my boyfriend or girlfriend, I set my eyes on something else.
Then Comes Marriage
After thinking long and hard, I decided that my little character needed to marry Shane. I mean, Sebastian was up there, but he’s like a lot of people’s favorite. Alex was there too, but all Alex does is work out. I thought about Abigail and Maru but I went with my feel-bads and went with Shane. I figured it would give him purpose and meaning in life. I mean, his alcoholism was pretty bad.
Right now I’m focusing on getting enough hardwood to update my house. Who knew that it would be this hard to find hardwood?! This of course came after I upgraded all the barns. Either way, I’m ready for the next step in Stardew Valley, that and finishing the community center.
