My Stardew Valley Obsession

My Stardew Valley Obsession

You know when you get completely sucked into a video game where all life basically stops existing outside of said video game? Well, I knew something like this could happen with Stardew Valley, but I didn’t realize that it would be to this degree. Here are my confessions and explanations of my Stardew Valley Obsession.

Stardew Valley

For starters, it’s a simple life. You make money by selling things you make on the farm.  For example, you can grow and harvest plants, raise animals and create things out of those animals’ bi-products. You can even make money out of the things you find on the side of the road or in the forrest. I made more in a year in Stardew Valley then I do in real life. A lot less stress I might add!

It’s a nice way to live, and I wish I could go there and do that in real life. However real life doesn’t work that way. *sigh*

On top of that, you can have multiple boyfriends and girlfriends in this game. For some odd reason, I’ve taken it upon myself to become everybody’s girlfriend that is available in this game. So far, I have three girlfriends and 2 boyfriends. I’m aiming for all of them, yet don’t have a clue who I’m going to choose to give the mermaid pendant to. This is expensive though, I have to find two gifts per person each week to bestow onto them.

Either way, this game is horribly addicting for me. I would rather mindlessly farm in this game than adventure outside of my apartment and converse with real people. Well, that’s normal but still. This game is very relaxing and I live for the cutscenes. It’ s a fantastic game and everyone should try it in my opinion!
