SAAM Arcade Event at the Smithsonian
This weekend I’m flying out to Washington D.C. to help show two indie games at the SAAM (Smithsonian American Art Museum) Arcade event that is happening this Saturday and Sunday. If you’re in the D.C. area or are close by, this would be an event that you would not want to miss.
The SAAM Arcade is an annual event that is two days filled with video games and indie games including VR. Over 150 developers submitted their games at the SAAM Arcade. Yet, only the top 20% were chosen to show their creations at this year’s event. Not only will there be indie games to play, but also arcade games and consoles to play as well. Plus, they will also be hosting workshops for aspiring game designers to attend and learn from. It’s a great time to be had by all who are involved.
Plus, this event is free.
I’ll be there helping show Mystic Melee by Serenity Forge, a game that will be released on Early Access on Steam August 22nd and Burley Men at Sea by Brain&Brain which has already been released. If you’re able to go, totally stop by and check out these fantastic games. Plus, there will be other wonderful games to check out as well like Semblance, Epitaph and Thing-in-Itself and I’m so excited to check out the other games shown as well.
