Joh Heder to Denver Comic Con 2017
Gosh. It’s the number one thing that pops into my head when I hear Napoleon Dynamite. That and something about a liger. The fact that Jon Heder, the man who brought the dancing queen Napoleon to life is going to be at Denver Comic Con 2017 is blowing my mind right now.
When I first watched Napoleon Dynamite, I hated it. I didn’t understand why so many people were obsessed with it. So I watched it again, and then again. Now every time I watch that movie, I tend to love it more. Heck, when I’m having a bad day, I pull up the part where Napoleon Dances in the movie on YouTube and I watch it. It instantly lightens my mood with his dance moves, his snow boots and the “Vote for Pedro” t-shirt.
I mean, this is a movie that no one can change to possibly make better. In the words of my other half, “it’s a perfect movie.” So the fact that the actor who played Napoleon, Jon Heder is going to be at Denver Comic Con 2017 is just mind blowing. I’m so excited! Plus, I didn’t even realize that he was born in Fort Collins, CO, a place where I once lived.
Since then, Jon has been voice acting. He was Ryu and Ryu’s Dad in The Legend of Korra and Oskar in Star vs. the Forces of Evil. Yet, I have to admit that Jon Heder will always be the awkward kid who keeps tater tots in his pants.
Either way, if Denver Comic Con is already announcing Jon Heder to being at this next year’s event, it’s probably going to be pretty epic.
