Denver Comic Con 2017 Day 1
Today is the first day of Denver Comic Con 2017 and doors open at 10am. There’s a lot to be excited about and here’s what I’m looking forward to for Denver Comic Con 2017 day 1.
Denver Comic Con is one of my most favorite events in Denver. It’s a time where people come together from all aspects of life to enjoy their fandoms in the world of pop culture. There are so many things to look at, to buy and to geek out over. For me, there are a few areas that I have to check out first.
For starters, the video game area was moved from the lower floor up into the main hall. I’m so excited to check out the Hall of Games area. A bunch of independent game studios will be displaying their awesome games there. You can try out games like the award winning Kingdom, The King’s Bird and A Dragon Named Coal. There will be lots of games to play, so totally check it out.
Plus, a ton of artists will be in the main floor as well. I’m excited to see the new things that Meents Illustrated and The Tonus created. Also, the artist who drew the logo for this year’s convention beer, I AM BREWT, Noah Eisenman has a table as well. He has some Overwatch art that I’ve had my eyes on and excited to purchase. I can’t wait to see all the other artists as well. There’s so much talent in this world.
On top of that is all the different panels to look forward to. I’m mostly looking forward to the Felicia Day panels, as well as the different video game panels they have. I’m a video game nut if you couldn’t tell. For convenience on finding which panel you should go to, check out the app! Info here: http://popcultureclassroom.org/dcc/panels-and-workshops/
