Aurion Legacy of the Kori-Odan Indie Game Review

Aurion Legacy of the Kori-Odan

I’m a fan of RPG’s. In fact, Final Fantasy X was my first RPG I ever played. So when I was introduced to Aurion Legacy of the Kori-Odan, an African RPG, I knew I had to try out this game.

The Game

In Aurion Legacy of the Kori-Odan, you play Enzo Kori-Odan. He is the young prince who just wed a beautiful woman named Erine, and became King of Zama. However, his reign is cut very short after his bride’s brother, Ngarba takes over their kingdom and exiles Enzo and his bride. Now together, Enzo and Erine have to find a way to save Zama.

However, this will not be an easy feat. Enzo has to become powerful, yet to do this he has to connect with the ancestors to build up his Aurion. Yet, he can’t do this alone. Enzo embarks on a journey with Erine to not only gain more power, but to also become the King and Queen that Zama deserves.

The Feels

I’m the type of gamer who LOVES story, and this one definitely drew me in the more I played it. On top of that, the game play is challenging. According to their website, this game was inspired by the “Tales of ” series, which I am a fan of. However, the game play for Aurion is a lot more fun than Tales of Zestiria. Plus, it’s a lot more challenging to the player.

So far, I haven’t gotten far in this game. Although, I’m currently tracking down a friend who was kidnapped by a group of thugs. Yet, I know I’ll be going back to continue this story when I have time. If you’re a fan of RPG’s this could be a fun game for you. You can play this game in French and English.
